NCAA D3 Women’s Volleyball Power Rankings: Who’s Rising and Falling?

This week’s top teams continue to dominate the NCAA DIII volleyball rankings. The only unbeaten teams in the top 25 are No. 1 La Verne (14-0), No. 2 East Texas Baptist (18-0), and No. 19 Virginia Wesleyan (19-0), who are playing their second consecutive week.

Due to its flawless season, Virginia Wesleyan jumped three places this week. Since the last poll, the Marlins have won three in a row in the Old Dominion Athletic Conference (3-2, 3-0, 3-1).

Wisconsin-Eau Claire dropped back to No. 8 after jumping five spots to No. 5 previous week. The Blugolds fell to No. 10 Washington University in St. Louis (1-3) in their first defeat since the first week. Emory, Illinois Wesleyan, and Juniata all gained ground as a result of this shift.

On the chart, No. 18 Washington & Lee, formerly No. 15, and No. 15 Otterbein, formerly No. 18, traded positions. Despite their recent losses, they are still rated due to their steady play.

Teams find their feet as the season goes on, and their performance only gets better. There will soon be more surprises.
