NCAA Announces Gilman Gear as Official Lacrosse Goal Supplier

The NCAA has named Gilman Gear as the official supplier of goals for all NCAA lacrosse championships until the 2027 season. This partnership guarantees that NCAA lacrosse student-athletes will have access to top-quality game goals, further emphasizing the NCAA’s dedication to excellence in collegiate sports.

Gilman Gear, a manufacturing company with a 96-year history located in Gilman, Connecticut, is renowned for its legacy in producing football field equipment. In 2017, the company patented its lacrosse goal, known for its distinctive ping, which has since become the best-selling lacrosse goal in the United States.

David Clendenin, the NCAA director of licensing, championships, and alliances, shared his excitement about the new partnership: “The NCAA is thrilled to collaborate with Gilman, a company that provides high-quality equipment for our student-athletes.
