NCAA Announces Finalists for 2025 DI Women’s Golf Championship

2025 NCAA DI Women’s Golf Championship teams

The 2025 NCAA DI Women’s Golf Championship field has been decided. The tournament will take place at Omni La Costa Resort and Spa in Carlsbad, California, from May 16–21.

Six regional locations hosted regional play from May 5–7. The top five teams and the top player who wasn’t on a qualifying team advanced to the national finals. Charlottesville, Virginia; Columbus, Ohio; Gold Canyon, Arizona; Lexington, Kentucky; Lubbock, Texas; and Norman, Oklahoma were among the regional locations.

The championships will take place in Texas, with GOLF Channel providing live coverage for the last three days of play.

30 teams and six individuals will compete in 54 holes of stroke play as part of the Carlsbad championship format. The top 15 teams and the top nine players who are not on an advancing team will then compete in one more day of stroke play to determine the top eight teams for match play competition and the 72-hole stroke play individual champion. After that, the top eight teams face each other for the team national title, which will be determined on May 21.
