“Suits LA” has been canceled by NBC after just one season, According to report.
The NBC version of the “Suits” universe first premiered in February. Bryan Greenberg, Josh McDermitt, Lex Scott Davis, and Stephen Amell are among the cast members. There have been appearances by several original cast members of “Suits,” such as David Costabile, Rick Hoffman, and Gabriel Macht.
Given that “Suits” had discovered an amazing new life on Netflix, there was a lot of buzz surrounding the program before its release. However, “Suits LA” fell short of the hype, receiving generally negative reviews at launch and barely making an impact in the ratings.
According to the official series description:
“Ted Black (Amell), a former federal prosecutor from New York, has reinvented himself representing the most powerful clients in Los Angeles. His firm is at a crisis point, and in order to survive, he must embrace a role he held in contempt his entire career. Ted is surrounded by a stellar group of characters who test their loyalties to both Ted and each other while they can’t help but mix their personal and professional lives. All of this is going on while we slowly unravel the events that years ago led Ted to leave behind everything and everyone he loved.”
Aaron Korsh, the show’s creator and executive producer, is the creator of “Suits.” Rick Muirragui, Jon Cowan, Gene Klein, Anton Cropper, Genevieve Sparling, Doug Liman, and David Bartis also serve as executive producers. UCP is the studio.
This is the most recent cancelation that NBC has disclosed ahead to their May 12 upfront presentation in New York. In addition to the comedies Lopez vs. Lopez and Night Court, “Suits La” now co-stars with the drama “The Irrational.”
