NASCAR Phoenix Championship Weekend: Dates, Start Times, TV Coverage & Weather Updates

In the Truck, Xfinity, and Cup series, NASCAR champions will be awarded on consecutive days as the 2025 season comes to a finish this weekend at Phoenix Raceway.

The top finisher in each race on the 1-mile track in Avondale, Arizona, will win the championship, which is up for grabs in the season finale of each series.

Ty Majeski, Tyler Ankrum, Kaden Honeycutt, and Corey Heim, who leads the series with 11 wins, will compete in the championship round of the 150-lap truck race on Friday at 7:30 p.m.

The 200-lap race in the Xfinity Series will pit Connor Zilisch (who has a series-best 10 victories), Justin Allgaier, Jesse Love, and Carson Kvapil against one another for the title on Saturday at 7:30 p.m. ET.

Denny Hamlin, who leads the series with six wins, Chase Briscoe, William Byron, and Kyle Larson will compete in Sunday’s Cup Series championship.

The 312-lap race, which will be broadcast on Peacock and NBC, will start just after 3 p.m. ET. NBC and Peacock will start airing an extended Countdown to Green at 2:00 PM ET.

Saturday: There is no possibility of rain, light and variable winds, and a high of 88 degrees. The weather will be mostly sunny. When the ARCA race begins, the temperature is predicted to be 75 degrees with no chance of rain, and when the Xfinity race begins, it will be 86 degrees with no chance of rain.

Sunday: Mostly sunny, with a high of 90 degrees, low to moderate winds, and no chance of rain. At the beginning of the Cup race, the temperature is predicted to be 85 degrees with no risk of rain.
