McDonald’s Launches a New McCrispy Strips Along With Bold New Sauce

McDonald’s is getting ready to introduce a new menu item, along with a brand new sauce.

On Thursday, April 24, the giant fast-food chain said that they would be adding a new permanent item to their menu of food and drink servings.

White meat chicken is used to make the McCrispy Strips, which are then covered in crispy golden-brown breading and seasoned with black pepper. After introducing the Crispy Chicken Sandwich in 2021, this is the first permanent menu item the restaurant has added in four years.

The brand-new Creamy Chili Dip, which combines sweet, savory, and even tangy blend to create a flavor bursting, will be served alongside the juicy strips to guests. McDonald’s specialty sauces, which already include Tangy Barbecue, Spicy Buffalo, Creamy Ranch, Honey Mustard, Honey, and Sweet ‘N Sour Sauce, will now include the Creamy Chili Dip.

“The demand for chicken strips has been remarkable to see across the industry, so we knew we had to deliver something so craveable that it was worth the wait,” McDonald’s said. “We took our time, listened to our fans, and created a product we knew they would crave. And the best part is we’re just getting started.”

The brand made an unexpected announcement about the comeback of the popular snack wraps, which was followed by the release of the new items. Fans were given a sneak peek at the actual release date on Tuesday, April 15, when the brand posted the words “0x.14.2025” on their X (previously known as Twitter) account.

Made with ranch sauce, shredded lettuce, shredded cheese, and 100% Canadian-raised seasoned chicken, the Snack Wrap first appeared on McDonald’s menus in 2006 and was later discontinued in 2016. Fans have pleaded with the brand to bring them back ever since.

The giant chain is finally giving in to the desires of its fan base, and the Snack Wrap partial release date has fans excited and wondering what month it will return.

A social media user responded to the ominous post, writing, “I’m betting on June. I cannot confirm or deny.” To a separate excited customer, the brand responded, “Soon friend soon.”
