Mahindra is thrilled to announce the November 26, 2024, introduction of two new electric brands, BE and XEV. At the Unlimit India World Premiere in Chennai, the XEV 9e and BE 6e will both make their debuts. Additionally, this launch will be a component of Mahindra’s plan to enter the luxury market for electric vehicles.
Mahindra BE 6e and XEV 9e: What’s New?
The new electric SUVs from Mahindra are the production versions of the BE.05 and XUV.e9 concepts. With their class-leading safety standards, remarkable range, and exhilarating driving experience, these EVs will be built on the INGLO platform.
Additionally, to improve the user experience, both electric SUVs will have Qualcomm CPUs for a connected car platform. The new electric SUVs may cost less than Rs 35 lakh (ex-showroom). The company will probably also reveal its intentions for EV charging stations.
Features and Design
Both Mahindra electric SUVs will have aggressive-looking design elements and a powerful body structure. Twin-spoke steering wheels, a rotary knob, a floating center console, and a 10.25-inch dual-screen infotainment and instrument cluster are among the amenities the brand will provide.
