Krispy Kreme Launches Magical Harry Potter Doughnuts: Full Flavor List

Krispy Kreme has introduced doughnuts with a Harry Potter theme.

On August 14, the doughnut chain revealed a new doughnut line that draws inspiration from the renowned Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, which is featured in the “Harry Potter” film series.

For a brief while starting on August 18, the Harry Potter Houses of Hogwarts x Krispy Kreme Collection will be accessible. Out of the four “enchanting doughnuts that bring the four Hogwarts houses to life through delicious flavors,” the collection includes the following:

Gryffindor Doughnut: An unglazed shell doughnut stuffed with Kreme with a cookie butter flavor, covered in Biscoff cookie crumble and red icing, and garnished with the Gryffindor crest and golden icing drizzles.

Slytherin Doughnut: An original glazed doughnut with the Slytherin crest, chocolate cookie sugar blend, and swirls of chocolate and green buttercream.

Hufflepuff Doughnut: An unglazed shell doughnut with a brown butter toffee-flavored custard within. It is covered in golden yellow icing and has the Hufflepuff crest, cookie crunch, and black chocolate dripping on top.

Ravenclaw Doughnut: a traditional glazed doughnut covered in blueberry frosting and topped with the Ravenclaw crest and sprinkles.

As stated in a press release, “We’re channeling the beloved magic of Harry Potter and the Houses of Hogwarts for a collection that is truly bewitching,” stated Alison Holder, Krispy Kreme’s Chief Brand and Product Officer. “But the magic is fleeting, and so are these doughnuts, so don’t miss your chance to try them!”

There are also Sorting Hat doughnuts available, but they are sold separately.

While supplies last, Krispy Kreme is also selling a Sorting Hat Doughnut, which will be available for purchase separately in a limited-edition novelty box.

This doughnut is filled with a mystery-colored Kreme that represents one of the four houses of Hogwarts. It is then covered in chocolate-flavored icing, adorned with gold sugar and sparkling stars, and finished with a piece of the Sorting Hat.

The doughnut collection will be offered for pickup or delivery through the Krispy Kreme app and website, as well as singly and in specially created dozen boxes in-store. Additionally, customers can have the collection sent to specific stores in a Krispy Kreme six-pack.

On August 23, Harry Potter fans may get a free doughnut at Krispy Kreme

Krispy Kreme is giving “Harry Potter” fans the opportunity to receive a free doughnut in addition to the doughnuts.

As long as supplies last, fans who represent their favorite Hogwarts house will receive a free Original Glazed doughnut from participating Krispy Kreme locations around the country on Saturday, August 23.

Additionally, starting on September 1, Krispy Kreme is offering fans the opportunity to enter to win a trip to Universal Orlando Resort or Universal Studios Hollywood to experience the magic of the Wizarding World of Harry Potter.
