This weekend will see the premiere of the “Lioness” Season 2 finale, which stars Nicole Kidman and Zoe Saldana.
America’s CIA chief Kaitlyn Meade (Kidman) and colleague Joe McNamara (Saldana) are compelled to recruit a new Lioness operative in order to infiltrate a Mexican cartel family during Season 2 of the Paramount+ thriller. In a narrative synopsis, Paramount mentions that they have chosen U.S. Army Capt. Josephina “Josie” Carillo (played by Genesis Rodriguez), who receives assistance from elite fighters to learn how to be a foot soldier.
The terrorist infiltration agent from last year’s “Special Ops: Lioness,” Cruz Manuelos (Laysla De Oliveira), who was a Marine before becoming an operation, is also back this season.
The series is executive produced by Taylor Sheridan. Kidman and Saldana also serve as executive directors.
