How to Watch Summer Games Done Quick 2025 Live Online

Charity speedruns can provide a peaceful haven in an otherwise chaotic environment. For your fix, Summer Games Done Quick (SGDQ) is hosting the marathon in 2025. On Sunday, July 6th, you may tune in. There are loads of fun games and crazy challenges in the roster, as every time.

It makes sense that there will be a Switch 2 game this year. Mario Kart World will be played on the new console by the speedrunner Peas on the final day of the event.

In celebration of the new console’s release, Nintendo is prominently featured at this event. Attendees can look forward to three Zelda titles: Majora’s Mask, Phantom Hourglass, and Link’s Awakening. Additionally, the beloved plumber mascot, Mario, is showcased throughout the venue. You can discover Mario Kart: Super Circuit, Super Mario Odyssey, Mario Paint, and the Super Mario World modification, Sayonara Mario World 2. (And that’s not all!) Super Mario Maker 2, Super Mario Bros. 3, and Super Mario 64 are also part of the lineup.

There’s a lot of non-Nintendo content as well. The week begins with an “All Emeralds Glitched” run of Sonic the Hedgehog 2. One of Engadget’s all-time favorites, Balatro, is set to run on July 11. Indiana Jones and the Great Circle will also be featured. Additionally, two speedrunning legends will attempt to conquer Cuphead within a 35-minute timeframe. (Wait, what??!) Anyone who manages to complete that challenging game in under that time should be declared the leader of the free world.

Funds for Doctors Without Borders will be raised at the event. The nonprofit humanitarian organization employs about 63,000 medical professionals. In more than 70 nations, it provides clinical and humanitarian assistance. The event last summer raised $2.5 million. Games Done Quick events have raised more than $50 million for nonprofit organizations thus far.
