EuroBasket 2025 Final Germany vs Türkiye

Germany and Turkey will compete for the title of EuroBasket 2025 champion on Sunday. Numerous NBA players have competed in the competition, and in the championship game, Franz Wagner of the Magic (Germany) and Alperen Sengun of the Rockets (Turkey) will face off.

However, earlier in the knockout stage, the tournament’s greatest talents were eliminated. In the Round of 16, Lauri Markkanen and Finland defeated the pre-tournament favorites, Nikola Jokić and Serbia. Slovenia advanced to the quarterfinals under Luka Dončić, but Germany outscored the Lakers star with a dominant fourth quarter. In the semifinals on Friday, Giannis Antetokounmpo and Greece were defeated by Türkiye.

Format

There were four groups of six teams each at the start of the event. Each team played every other team in their group once during the round-robin group stage, which ended on September 4. Each group’s top four teams moved on to the knockout phase.
