How to Watch Bronny James in the 2025 Lakers Summer League

Bronny James Lakers Summer League 2025

Bronny James has already finished his debut season. In order to get a chance to competing with the NBA’s newest draft class, he will compete with the Los Angeles Lakers’ Summer League club for a chunk of his summer.

James and the rest of the Lakers’ summer team are participating in the California Classic, a shorter exhibition event in San Francisco, before to the major celebrations in Las Vegas. They play the San Antonio Spurs and No. 2 pick Dylan Harper to wrap up their tour in the Bay.

In the NBA 2K26 Summer League, the Lakers secured a primetime spot in Vegas, where they will play the No. 1 pick’s debut game against Cooper Flagg and the Dallas Mavericks on July 10.

James made 27 appearances for the Lakers in his rookie season, including one start. In those games, he played just 6.7 minutes per game and averaged 2.3 points per game. The South Bay Lakers, the Lakers’ affiliate, were where he played the majority of his games and earned the majority of his minutes. He shot 33.6% from three-point range and averaged 18.6 points, 4.6 assists, 4.4 rebounds, and 1.7 steals per game in 18 games that were added to South Bay’s regular-season schedule.

As year two approaches, James aims to hone his skills and secure more playing time to solidify his role in the Lakers’ lineup. This journey kicks off in Summer League and carries on throughout the offseason. Here’s all the essential information regarding James and the Lakers for Summer League:
