How to play in Powerball

You must purchase a $2 ticket in order to play Powerball. You can do this at a number of places, such as your local grocery stores, convenience store, or gas station. Powerball tickets can be purchased online in certain states.

After obtaining your ticket, you must select six numbers. There will be five white balls with numbers ranging from 1 to 69. The red Powerball has a range of 1 to 26. For $1, players can also add a “Power Play,” which raises the winnings of all non-jackpot prizes.

Winnings can be multiplied by 2X, 3X, 4X, 5X, or 10X with the “Power Play” multiplier.

The “Quick Pick” option, which prints machine-generated numbers on a Powerball ticket, is available if you’re feeling unlucky or want the computer to do the job for you. Players must match the red Powerball with all five white balls in any order to win the jackpot.

Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday nights are when Powerball drawings take place. The cash prize will continue to increase if no one wins the jackpot.
