According to a blog post by Google Labs product manager Biao Wang, Google’s NotebookLM mobile app is currently available for iOS and iPadOS through the App Store and Android on Google Play. The team has received “one of the most frequent requests” for a mobile app.

The app appears to have features that are comparable to NotebookLM’s desktop version, such as the ability to upload information sources for the app to summarize. Additionally, it can create AI-generated audio overviews that resemble podcasts. According to Google, you may use the app to listen to such Audio Overviews in the background while using your phone for other purposes or when you’re not online. It could be a convenient way to keep up on your performance review.

Last month, the business teased to the release of the AI-powered tool’s mobile app. Its official debut coincides with Google I/O, which begins Tuesday at 1 PM ET with the opening keynote. Most likely, it will be an AI program.
