Google doodle celebrates the Kazakhstan’s Independence Day

Kazakhstan’s Independence Day is honored in today’s yearly Doodle! After decades of foreign rule, the country’s freedom was finally declared on this day in 1991 when the Supreme Council signed the Declaration of Independence.

Kazakhstan, which is home to more than 130 different ethnic groups, celebrates Independence Day as a chance to honor its diverse cultures and traditions as well as to unite as a nation. Kazakhstanis attend the main celebration at Ak Orda Presidential Palace or yurt (tent) festivals with mouthwatering cuisine and upbeat music while dressed in traditional attire.

The national flag, which is depicted waving in today’s artwork, is displayed on buildings and streets across the nation. The golden sun and eagle stand for freedom and principles, while the turquoise background symbolizes peace and tranquility.
