Family of Elon Musk continues to grow as he has confirmed the birth of his latest child, a son named Seldon Lycurgus.
This is Musk’s 14th child and his fourth with Shivon Zilis, an executive at Neuralink. On Musk’s social media network, X, Zilis, a Canadian AI expert and senior executive at his neurotechnology business, posted the news.
“In light of beautiful Arcadia’s birthday, Elon and I felt it was the right time to share the arrival of our wonderful and incredible son, Seldon Lycurgus,” Zilis, 38, wrote. She went on to describe the newborn as “built like a juggernaut, with a solid heart of gold.” Musk acknowledged the post with a heart emoji.
The CEO of SpaceX and Tesla is well known for preferring unique and unusual baby names. Exa Dark Siderael, Strider, Azure, and X Æ A-12, who is frequently called “X,” are some of his other children.
Musk frequently expressed concerns about the world’s population reduction and his intention to father a big number of children. As he previously stated, “Bravo to big families,” highlighting the fact that declining birth rates represent “the greatest risk to civilization.”
In addition to celebrating his new addition, Musk is involved in a legal controversy. Ashley St. Clair, a conservative media personality and influencer, has sued Musk, claiming Musk is the father of her five-month-old boy.
The child’s paternity is undeniable, according to court documents, because St. Clair “did not have sexual intercourse with any other male during the time the child was conceived.” Alleged text conversations from Musk are also included in the lawsuit; one of them purports to say, “I look forward to seeing you and him this weekend.”
St. Clair made her claim public on X by stating, “Five months ago, I welcomed a new baby into the world.” The dad is Elon Musk.
Musk has not yet addressed the claims.
Musk’s Growing Family
Musk has had children with several partners throughout the years. He and author Justine Wilson, his first wife, had six children together. In addition, he has four children with Shivon Zilis and three with artist Grimes (Claire Boucher).
As Musk keeps focusing on his business ventures, such as Tesla, SpaceX, Neuralink, and his new position in Donald Trump’s government efficiency team, colloquially referred to as the “Doge Department,” St. Clair’s lawsuit adds another level of complexity to his personal life.
Musk maintains that population decline is one of the most pressing issues of modern era and is a strong supporter of large families despite his personal problems.
