On January 7, David Fincher’s criminal thriller “Se7en” will be made available digitally for the first time in 4K Ultra HD and on 4K UHD Blu-ray Disc in honor of the movie’s approaching 30th anniversary. While the digital edition will be accessible on Amazon Prime Video, AppleTV, Google Play, Fandango at Home, and other platforms, the physical version will be sold online and at major retailers. The movie will also have its first IMAX release, with a limited run on more than 150 Imax screens throughout the country.
Brad Pitt, Gwyneth Paltrow, Morgan Freeman, and Kevin Spacey are among the cast members of “Se7en,” Fincher’s second film after directing “Alien 3.” The film was written by Andrew Kevin Walker (“The Killer”). The movie centers on two police officers (Pitt and Freeman) who are pursuing a murderer (Spacey) who targets people he believes have committed one of the “seven deadly sins.”
