Michelle Visage hosting Drag Race Down Under vs. The World

It’s Michelle Visage back!

The judge from “RuPaul’s Drag Race” is hosting this time. The first season of “Drag Race Down Under vs. The World” will be hosted by Visage.

Season 4 winner Lazy Susan and comedian and actor Rhys Nicholson are joining Visage. The show will be broadcast on Stan in Australia and WOW Presents Plus in the United States and a few other territories.

Fenton Bailey and Randy Barbato, co-founders of World of Wonder, stated: “We couldn’t be more excited to expand the ‘Drag Race’ legacy. We are going totally Glocal as local legends face off against global icons. ‘Down Under vs. The World’ promises a season packed with unfiltered moments, fashion, and lip syncs that will leave no lash unglued.”

Fan favorites from “Drag Race Down Under” will compete against horrible queens from around the globe in “Drag Race Down Under vs. The World,” with the goal of winning the ultimate crown.

Star-studded guest judge will be featured on the show, which will offer a global take on the classic “Drag Race” formula. As the competition for worldwide drag supremacy commences, new styles, more dramatic noises, and iconic lip syncs will be served.

RuPaul Charles, Bailey, Barbato, and Tom Campbell are World of Wonder’s executive producers. Stan’s executive producers include Alicia Brown.

This week also marks the release of the season finale of “Drag Race France All Stars,” which will air on WOW Presents Plus on August 28.

This year, “Drag Race” has received its tenth consecutive nomination in the category of outstanding reality competition program. With five victories in the category, it is the most-awarded reality competition show at the Emmys. Picture editing for an unstructured reality program for “Untucked,” picture editing for a structured reality program, directing for a reality program, casting for a reality program, production design for a variety or reality series, lighting design/direction for a series, makeup for a variety, nonfiction, or reality program, and unstructured reality program were among the ten nominations the show and its spinoffs received this year.
