Big 12 Softball Championship 2025: TV Channel, Start Time & How to Watch

Ultimately, the Big 12 will select a softball champion who isn’t from Oklahoma.

The Sooners, who have won six of the last seven Big 12 softball titles, have left a huge void in their former league by moving to the SEC and joining Big 12 defector Texas. This gives current Big 12 teams a tremendous opportunity because they will automatically be invited to the larger 2025 NCAA softball tournament after winning their conference championship on Saturday.

Texas Tech and Arizona will compete for that berth in Saturday’s Big 12 softball tournament championship game, which will begin at Devon Park in Oklahoma City at 12:00 ET.

The Red Raiders defeated Arizona State 18-0 in the semifinals and Baylor 4-0 in the quarterfinals to advance to Saturday’s title game. The Wildcats, on the other hand, won the semifinals against Iowa State and the quarterfinals against UCF. The Sooners will not play in the Big 12 championship game for the first time since 2008, and it will be the second time since 2017 that Oklahoma will not win the Big 12 title.
